RootsnTech Health Founder and Creative Director, Brighton Kimbell, has served her community as a high school educator, social worker, policy writer, a trauma-sensitive Kundalini yoga instructor, and filmmaker. Over the past 7 years her work has centered on partner abuse, sexual violence, the commercial sexual exploitation of children, youth empowerment, indigenous rights, and positive youth development. She is the creator of RootsNTech Health, a consultancy business that helps organizations and schools establish community events and local movements that are trauma informed, well attended, fun, and emotionally healthy. Graduate of UC Berkeley and a Masters in Healthcare Management from California State University, Los Angeles.
